Zimbos Struggle To Buy ZESA Tokens As Consumers Rush To Purchase "Cheap" Electricity
Zimbabweans are having a hard time today trying to purchase cheap electricity that is usually available on the first purchase of the month. People have been complaining all over social media that they cannot buy electricity through normal payment platforms as they are saying the transactions are not going through.
One of the platforms that is used to purchase electricity Paynow has even warned consumers that the system is not working in a message on their website which reads:
Our sincere apologies, ZESA Pre-Paid payments have been temporarily disabled
FeedbackEcoCash while responding to a Twimbo on Twitter also said the service was experiencing some challenges in a tweet that reads:
The ZESA platform is currently intermittent and we would advise that you try later

CBZ took the time to notify its customers that they have disabled the service at the moment.
