Julia Chibhabha Named 3-Member National Women’s Selection Panel Convener

Former Lady Chevrons Skipper Julia Chibhabha has been named one of the conveners for the newly established three-member national women’s selection panel that was announced by Zimbabwe Cricket yesterday, New Zimbabwe.

According to the publication:

Chibhabha will lead the newly established three-member national women’s selection panel which includes fellow former Zimbabwe international cricket players Thando Mlilo and Emily Njinjika.

Chibhabha was the first woman to become the lady Chevrons’ captain ahead of their first-ever International Cricket Council (ICC) cricket series in Nairobi and is the sister of sister Chamu Chibhabhwa who is the current national men’s limited-overs captain.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwe Cricket is also discussing safe cricket resumption guidelines recommended by ICC.
