FULL THREAD: Govt Shutting Down Initiative Established To Help Starving Kids - Chin'ono
Zimbabwean journalist and filmmaker, Hopewell Chin’ono has claimed that the government has moved to shut down the “Carol and Sandra Epworth Kitchen,” a breakfast initiative that was established to help starving children in Epworth.
Posting on Twitter, Chin’ono said:
Yesterday I posted a video of the Kids breakfast initiative @AndEpworth started by 2 single mothers in Epworth. You sent money and goods to them so that they can continue feeding these starving kids. Today they received a visit from the Government, it is SHUTTING THEM DOWN!
FeedbackIt means these kinds will be starving whilst politics takes center stage! It shows how Government doesn’t care about the welfare of its citizens! These ladies approached Government seeking guidance, they were ignored. Now their project has taken off, they are SHU DOWN. Crazy!
