Wuhan To Test All 11 Million Residents Following 6 New Coronavirus Cases
Wuhan has ordered that all 11 million residents of the city be tested for Coronavirus following 6 positive test results over the weekend.
The city had not had a new case since 3 April, ending a 35-day run of no new cases. The new 6 confirmed cases are traced to an 89-year-old man who was had had symptoms in March but was cleared as a recovered case.
According to reports, all Wuhan districts have been told to submit plans laying out how they will conduct testing of everyone within 10 days. Priority, the order is reported to say, will be given to the elderly, vulnerable groups, and then to people living in densely populated areas.
