Former Kuwadzana East legislator Chalton Hwende’s subversion case has been further remanded to 28 July 2020, The Herald reports. Hwende’s remand came a day after he was recalled from partly by the MDC – T.
In further remanding Hwende when he earlier on applied for refusal of further remand, Harare Magistrate Mrs Rumbidzai Mugwagwa:
Ruled that a message he Tweeted late in 2018, was tantamount to calling for the illegal removal of a constitutionally-elected Government.
Hwende has been on remand since last year when he was arrested on treason charges.
