No New COVID-19 Case For 5 Days In Zimbabwe

The country has not recorded new COVID-19 cases for 5 days since 1 May 2020. This is revealed in the COVID-19 case updates that are being posted on a daily basis by the Ministry of Health and Childcare.

According to the ministry, COVID-19 cases since the 1st of May remain at 34. The ministry has so far tested 14821  people since the outbreak started and only 34 cases came back positive.

Meanwhile, South Africa has recorded 7572 cases including 148 deaths and 2746 recoveries.

  1. Were there any tests conducted for those five days? Suffice to say that not conducting any tests has the net effect of receiving zero cases!
