Econet To Hike Data and SMS Bundle Prices Tomorrow

Econet will tomorrow hike the price of Data and SMS bundles ZimPrice Checks reports. This was communicated by the MNO in an SMS sent to subscribers which reads:

Dear Customer. Please note bundle prices for Data and SMS will be reviewed effective 5 May 2020. Dial *143# to buy Data or *140# to buy SMS Bundles.

MNOs have reportedly complained that they were making losses as costs were increasing due to the lockdown that was imposed by the government to curb spreading COVID-19
