You Will Be Arrested If You Release Your Relatives From Quarantine - ZACC Warns Politicians & Govt Officials
ZACC has warned politicians and government officials that they will be arrested if the release their friends and relatives from mandatory COVID-19 quarantine, The Herald reports.
ZACC is reportedly investigation reports that the political elites are facilitating the release of people in quarantine before they are cleared for COVID-19.
Speaking to the publication, ZACC Chairlady Justice Loice Matanda Moyo said:
We strongly warn politicians, ministers and other Government officials against abusing their powers to remove people from quarantine in this Covid-19 era.
As ZACC, we will not hesitate to arrest those who commit such a serious offence. That should never be done and we will arrest them without fear or favour.

Justice Matanda Moyo also said ZACC is currently investigating a case in which a relative of a certain minister was released from quarantine without being cleared for COVID-19.
