PICTURES: Lower Gweru Residents Receive Food Aid

Lower Gweru residents this Sunday received food aid. The distribution of aid was confirmed by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting services, Nick Mangwana who said that the beneficiaries observed “some social distancing”.

He, however, did not tell where the aid had come from neither did he specify the intended beneficiaries were.

Zimbabwe has a huge shortage of mealie-meal following a poor farming season. The country is now importing grain while other stakeholders and sympathisers are also donating food.
