'Khupe Splashes The Cash To Create Fake 2014 MDC-T Structures'

The MDC-T led by Thokozani Khupe has been accused offering US$100 to members of the MDC Alliance in the Midlands Province and other parts of the country to create fake 2014 structures as the party gears for an extraordinary congress.

The accusations were made by the MDC Alliance’s Midlands provincial spokesperson, Takavafira Zhou. He said:

It has come to the provincial leadership’s attention that the rebels are running mad and offering US$100 to anyone who can assist in the production of even fake 2014 MDC-T structures.

We are aware of the current hardships but want to encourage our genuine MDC Alliance members never to salivate at a poisoned carrot.

Co-operating in supplying fake 2014 structures is just like kissing a rabid dog.

Zhou added that the MDC Alliance Provincial leadership learnt that the Khupe and her people were in Kwekwe on Sunday pursuing that mission.

Zhou also said that the three provincial wings in Midlands (men, women and youth) and 28 constituencies were fully behind Chamisa.

Meanwhile, MDC-T is set to hold an extraordinary congress in the near future after the Supreme Court ordered Khupe to do so within three months to elect the party’s substantive leader to replace the late Morgan Tsvangirai.
