Number Of Coronavirus Cases Rise In Zimbabwe
The Ministry of Health and Child Care has announced that one (1) more person has tested positive for coronavirus. This means that Zimbabwe now has 14 confirmed cases including 3 deaths.
In an update released on 11 April, the Ministry said:
The Ministry would like to report that today, the National Microbiology Reference Laboratory tested 84 samples. The samples were received from four provinces i.e. Bulawayo (58). Harare (23), Mashonaland East (2) and Mashonaland Central (I). Of the 79 results available at the time of print, one was positive for COVID-19. More details to follow later.
FeedbackMeanwhile, the virus is rapidly spreading across the world. As of 12 April 2020, 02:28 GMT, 1 780 314 people had tested positive for the deadly virus while 108 827 deaths had been recorded.
