Everyone under the sound of my voice, as long as you can hear me, you’re spared. There’s not even one person listening to me tonight who shall be killed by this disease.

You will not die because the Son (Jesus) is involved in what we’re doing. You can’t find this freedom in any pharmacy. If you can hear my voice tonight, start praying for others, stop praying for yourself… you’re covered, you’re protected.

The clergyman speaks when video clips purported to be from about four years ago in which he is said to have prophesied about the coronavirus are circulating on social media.

Meanwhile, health experts emphasise personal hygiene including regular and thorough washing of hands with soap or hand sanitisers, and avoiding touching the face, as well as social distancing.

  1. This is a dangerous man with genocidal intentions for Zimbabwe. It’s enough to have ill-prepared Zimbabwe. It is madness for anyone to suggest they have the strength against Covid19 havoc. This self-anointed Makandiwa proclaims all you need is follow him….to where? …..against all the logic of global empirical evidence! My foot. Do we have government protection in this country?
