WATCH: Business As Usual In Mbare Harare Despite Lockdown

Scores of people have these week thronged to Mbare Musika in Harare where they conducted their day to day businesses despite the lockdown which was imposed to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus.

The development comes after President Emmerson Mnangagwa permitted farmers and traders of Agricultural produce to continue with their day to day businesses.

Last week, Mbare, like any other business place in Zimbabwe, was as peaceful as a church service as the army and police blocked all public gatherings.

Mutare police last week raided farmers around 3 am and confiscated their goods for defying the lockdown causing a public outcry which resulted in President Mnangagwa directing security personnel to allow farmers and traders to continue trading.
