ZRP To Intensify Patrols Amid Reports That Traffic Is Increasing In CBDs
ZRP has announced it will increase patrol officers and patrol in general amid reports that traffic of both pedestrians and vehicles have increased in CBDs countrywide, ZTN reports.
According to the publication, the development was announced by the ZRP National Spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi who said:
Police has intensified patrols, surveillance and roadblocks with a view of nabbing those openly defying Covid-19 lock-down measures.
Feedbackno movement of vehicles or people will be allowed on the country’s roads except for those with exemptions
According to the publication, ZRP has arrested 2885 people for violating lockdown restrictions so far.
