Queen Elizabeth Set To Address Nation As UK Records Worst Coronavirus Death Toll In A Day So Far
The United Kingdom has recorded its worst death toll so far from the novel coronavirus after 684 new deaths were recorded in one day.
The total number of deaths is now 3 605 while the number of people who have tested positive for coronavirus has risen by almost 5 000 to 38 168.
The virus is rapidly spreading across the world and even major economies are grappling to contain it as no cure has been found so far.
There are fears that the virus will likely kill over ten million people in Africa due to the sorry state of their health systems.
The World Health Organisation has advised people to constantly wash hands with soap to kill the virus whose shell is said to be fatty.
