Warriors and Aston Villa midfielder Marvelous Nakamba has been linked with a surprise move to Turkish Super Lig club Trabzonspor.
A report by BirminghamLive suggests that the 26-year-old has been targeted by the Turkish side to replace Nigerian star John Obi who left the club recently under a novel coronavirus cloud. The publication said:
Marvelous Nakamba has been linked with a shock exit from Aston Villa. According to reports in Turkey, the 26-year-old is a target for Turkish Super Lig club Trabzonspor.
He is the third Villa player to be linked with a move to Turkey by the Press there, with Mbwana Samatta (Galatasaray) and Trezeguet (Besiktas) said to be interesting clubs over there.
“Naka” was brought from Belgian side Club Brugge for €12 million less than a year ago. He has made 26 appearances in all competitions for the struggling Midlanders.
