Bitumen World Donates 40 000 Liters Of Diesel To Help Fight COVID-19

A local firm Bitumen World has donated 40 000 litres of diesel to the government to be used to fight COVID-19 as the country embarks on its 21 Days total lockdown, The Herald reports.

Bitumen World MD, Mr Andre Zietsman while handing over the diesel to President Mnangagwa at the statehouse yesterday said:

We as a company believe that we have to do something to assist the Government in fighting the virus so we are here to donate 40 000 litres of diesel.

We will be available to assist if required and we trust other companies and individuals will also come in to assist

President Mnangagwa while receiving the donation said police officers who will be patrolling during the lockdown would definitely make use of the donation.
