WATCH: Zimbabwe Finance Minister Telling The World About Zim’s “Strong Health System”

Zimbabwe’s Finance Minister Professor Mthuli Ncube in Davos said that the Zimbabwean health system is strong adding that the country is equipped to tackle the coronavirus pandemic.

At that time, the whole world including major actors on both the geoeconomic and geopolitical arenas were grappling with the pandemic and things seem to be worsening.

Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Health on Wednesday announced that it had tested 100 cases and three (3) had tested positive for the virus, 96 tested negative while one (1) case had an inconclusive result.

Out of the three cases that tested positive, one, a 30-year-old journalist has since died. The family of the deceased claimed that the country’s ill-preparedness caused the death of their family member.
