Local Entrepreneur Offers To Donate Equipment To Wilkins Hospital

Founder and Group CEO of Global Solar Group Of Companies Jeffree Rugare has offered to donate several items to Wilkins Infectious Disease Hospital.

The items include an inverter, solar panels, rechargeable bulbs and a solar borehole pump.

This was revealed by prominent journalist Hopewell Chin’no through a post on Twitter. Rugare wrote to Chon’ono:

Hopewell our company Global Solar Private Limited is ready to donate the following:

1. Donate and install at Wilkins Hospital 8kw solar inverter and at least 5kw solar panels, unfortunately, I don’t have batteries in stock but we need 16 of them to go with inverter configuration. Will also try to check with friends in the industry.

2. Donate rechargeable bulbs to fit the whole hospital. Rechargeable we can provide all hospital nationwide identified for Coranavirus. We can do both pin and screw type

3. Site borehole and if the borehole is 40m will equip it with a full solar water pump system. We are left with a pump which can only do 40m could have provided bigger. So we need to find a drilling company to partner

4. Provide USD 500 towards buying ventilators.

All these things we are ready to deploy as soon as today.
