Telecel Zimbabwe has notified its customers that its offices will now be opened for a limited period over health concerns.
In a text message that was sent to customers Telecel, the third-largest mobile network operator in Zimbabwe, said:
Dear customers, Please note that in the interest of public health all our offices will open only between 9am and 1pm until further notice. Telecel Zimbabwe.
The development comes when Zimbabwe is implementing a bevvy of measures which are aimed at reducing the spread and transmission of the novel coronavirus.
The country has banned public gatherings which are constituted of people exceeding 50 while all entertainment and recreational facilities in that order, including bars and gyms have also been declared a no go area.
