Econet Shuts Down Joina City Shop Over Coronavirus Fears

Econet Wireless Zimbabwe has closed two of its outlets in a bid to control the spread of COVID-19.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the telecoms company said the shops will be closed temporarily and customers will be advised when they are re-opened.

The shops affected are Victoria Falls Econet Shop in Victoria Falls and Joina City Econet Shop in Harare. The notice reads:

To help stop the spread of COVID-19 we have temporarily closed these shops.

Together we can stop the spread of COVID-19!
