AFM In Zimbabwe Suspends All Church Services Over Coronavirus

The Apostolic Faith Mission in Zimbabwe church led by Reverend Amon Madawo has notified its members of the temporary suspension of all church services due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

In a memorandum dated 24 March 2020 that was addressed to all Provincial Overseers and all Provincial Secretaries, the church’s Secretary-General Reverend Brian Tembo said:

TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ALL CHURCH SERVICES

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Further to our previous statement, the National Executive Board of the Apostolic Faith Mission in Zimbabwe hereby suspends all Assembly, Sub-Assembly, Cell or any group services or gatherings in compliance with the government’s efforts to curb the spread of Covid 19.

Members are encouraged to practice social distancing and to take all the recommended precautions to avoid infection by the corona virus.
