ZINARA Dismisses Vehicle Licence Fee Hike Social Media Reports

The country’s roads administrator has dismissed reports circulating on social media claiming that the government has hiked vehicle license fees, The Chronicle reports.

ZINARA issued a notice that reads:

Zinara is a statutory body that falls under the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructural Development. Therefore, any review of vehicle license tariffs is done by the parent ministry and is gazetted.

ZINARA further urged the public not to panic due to social media fake news.
