A Hindu Cleric Suggests The World Adopt The Namaste Greeting During The Coronavirus Outbreak
As the world is gripped by fear of COVID-19 a Hindu cleric has decided to push his culture forward by telling people to adopt the Hindu cultural greeting. The namaste greeting according to Wikipedia is:
a traditional Indian greeting or gesture of respect, made by bringing the palms together before the face or chest and bowing.
A Hindu statesman Rajan Zed speaking in Reno (Nevada) today said:
Namaste is much safer and respectable greeting alternative during coronavirus outbreak for social interaction than handshakes, friendly or cheek or air kisses, hugs, high-fives, fist bumps.
The coronavirus which has killed over 3000 people worldwide has so far, recorded its first case in South Africa and Cameroon.
