Norton legislator Temba Mliswa today took to the Twitter streets to put to rest gossip and stories about his private life when he bore his soul and explained that he had 5 children in the space of 2 years with different women.

1/On a lighter note, I know my birthday messages will invite the usual questions &gossip about the number of children & their mothers. To avoid confusion I had 3 beautiful, intelligent children in 2013 & 2 equally gifted in 2014 with different mothers… the others you’ll see too

2/Irresponsible you may say, but accordingly to who? Look at how beautiful& intelligent they are&I’m proud&grateful to their mothers for such Blessings. I love my children who inspire me to work harder for their welfare. Servant leadership to people& my children keep me motivated

3/ Saka kana isu vanaTemba mamunoti “Bhuru” kuchengeta vana vese, ko imimi mune vashoma makagara ne mudzimai wenyu? Lead by example. That’s the reason I’ve maintained it’s not about marriage, it’s about love, happiness & the children’s welfare where both parents are supportive.

4/ We all have opinions & the democratic right to express them but what’s key is to remain respectful & polite to each other
