Female Parliamentarians Stage A Demo In Parly - Report

Female parliamentarians reportedly staged a demo in parly by sitting on the floor in the chamber today to compel the government to do more to protect women and their rights, The Herald reports.
The demo was reportedly organised by a group of all-female parliamentarians called the Zimbabwe Women’s Parliamentary Committee.
According to the publication they were:
calling on Government and Parliament to do more to protect women and their rights as enshrined in the Constitution and various international treaties the country is signatory to.
