PICTURES: Chitungwiza Protests As MDC Youth Protesters Are Denied Bail

12 MDC Youth protestors who were arrested on Saturday when the police raided Job Sikhala’s house have been denied bail.

This was tweeted by a Zanu PF affiliated Twitter account this afternoon. Zanu PF Patriots said:

Magistrate Vongai Muchuchuti-Guuriro has denied bail to 12 MDC members who were arrested after an orgy of violence that saw property destroyed over the weekend when Chitungwiza was temporarily turned into a war zone. They been remanded in custody to the 12th March

Meanwhile, residents reportedly took it to the streets to protest the Magistrate’s ruling as these pictures of what looks like a protest are circulating on social media.
