No Cases Of Coronavirus In Zimbabwe – Health Minister

Zimbabwe’s Health and Childcare Minister Obadiah Moyo said there are no confirmed cases of coronavirus in the country yet.

Moyo was presenting a Ministerial statement on the country’s preparedness to manage the COVID-19 deadly virus in Parliament on Thursday. He said:

As of today (Thursday), there are no cases of coronavirus in Zimbabwe. We can guarantee the nation that there is no coronavirus in Zimbabwe.

Moyo added that there are more than 3 000 Zimbabweans who returned home from China (where the virus was first detected in December 2019) since last month and were being monitored.

Meanwhile, a 27-year-old Zimbabwean woman has been discharged from Wilkins Hospital where she had been quarantined. Preliminary tests showed that she was coronavirus free.

  1. Everything that this guy, Obadiah Moyo, says should be taken with a pinch of salt because more often than not he lies. He’s one guy that simply sings for his supper.
