Warriors midfielder Marvelous Nakamba met Zimbabwe’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Christian Katsande for the first time since he signed for the club in August 2019.
Nakamba uploaded the pictures of his visit on Friday to the embassy on Instagram which he captioned with: “It was a pleasure meeting the Ambassador at his office.”
Nakamba returned to Birmingham early in the week following the end of a week-long winter break which he spent at his family home in Bulawayo.
During his stay in Bulawayo, Nakamba married his girlfriend, Chipo Makurumure in a union which was solemnised by a Bulawayo magistrate.
Aston Villa next hosts the Jose Mourinho-coached Tottenham at Villa Park on Sunday in a Premier League match.
The Villains are currently 17th on the log standings.
