End The People's Suffering, Resolve The Political Crisis In Zimbabwe - Tsvangirai's Family To ED And Chamisa
The family of the late MDC leader Morgan Tsvangirai had urged the President and the MDC leader’s Nelson Chamisa to resolve the political crisis in Zimbabwe because Tsvangirai wouldn’t have wanted the people to suffer, Newsday reports.
The family spokesperson Manase Tsvangirai speaking to Newsday said:
The people are suffering. The current situation should bring everybody on board. It was not the dream of Morgan Tsvangirai to see the people suffering. That is why after defeating Mugabe in March 2018, he accepted to enter into a unity government with him to save people from suffering.
FeedbackHe was a selfless leader who put people first in all his decisions. I am challenging President Mnangagwa and MDC leader Nelson Chamisa to put people first and swallow their pride and enter into dialogue.
Tsvangirai died on the 14th of February in 2018 after a 2 year battle with cancer.
