Joram Gumbo's Tenants Were Illegally Brewing Beer At His Property

Tenants that were renting Minister of State for Presidential Affairs Joram Gumbo‘s Harare Malbereign property had set up an illegal beer brewing plant at his property, The Herald reports.

The matter came to light after the Minister himself reportedly tipped off the police who in turn raided his property and discovered the plant that the tenants were using to brew Musombodhiya.

The incident was confirmed by ZRP National Spokesperson, Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi who said:

Minister Gumbo came to us reporting that his tenants were involved in the business of brewing illicit beer.

Police details raided the house and arrested one woman, who is now in custody.The woman is implicating her husband, who is yet to be apprehended,

The Police also recovered five drums of ethanol and empty bottles labelled “Two Keys” at the scene.
