The City of Kwekwe has renamed its main street to (Emmerson Dambudzo) ED Mnangagwa St.
This was confirmed by Kwekwe Mayor, Councillor Kasipo on Tuesday.
The street is the main artery that links the small Midlands city with other major cities.
The renaming of the street and the installation of the new insignia follows the government’s recent approval to have some streets renamed after the country’s icons.
