"We Shall Overcome!" - Kasukuwere Speaks As State Takes His Farm
Exiled former Zimbabwe’s minister of Local Government, Saviour Kasukuwere has said he will overcome the persecution he is receiving from the government.
The remarks came with the Minister of Lands, Perrance Shiri making a move to seize the former ZANU PF political commissar’s farm. Kasukuwere posted on Twitter and said:
Zimbabwe ~ Land Reform: Political persecution continues but we shall overcome. Land has now become a fully blown political weapon.
FeedbackThe development comes after other allies to former president Mugabe, Jonathan Moyo and Patrick Zhuwao have also lost their farms.
Kasukuwere and other G40 kingpins skipped the country’s borders in 2017 during the military assisted transition that resulted in the demise of Zimbabwe’s first Prime Minister.

Latest developments are viewed as retribution against former Mugabe allies who “tormented” President Mnangagwa when he was still Vice President.
