'It's Highly Unlikely Musona Will Remain In Belgium'

Warriors captain Knowledge Musona’s agent, Mile Makaab, says it is highly unlikely that he will remain in Belgium next season.

This may give Mamelodi Sundowns a better opportunity of signing the 29-year-old ahead of the 2020/21 season and beyond. Said Makaab:

It is highly unlikely that Musona will stay in Belgium next season. He is going on loan until the end of the season and then we will decide at the end of the campaign.

As it stands we are not sure about his (Musona’s) next destination but as I said it is highly unlikely that he will be in Belgium come next season.

They [Mamelodi Sundowns] have expressed their love for Musona but I can confirm that there’s no formal offer on the table.

Musona is currently on loan at KAS Eupen in Belgium where he is hoping to resurrect his career after enduring a turbulent time during his stint with Belgian giants, Anderlecht.

While at Kaizer Chiefs, Musona was perhaps the best striker in the South African premiership before he left the league in 2011 initially for German side TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.
