Chiwenga, Marry Case Deferred To Next Week

High Court judge Justice Christopher Dube-Banda on Friday deferred to Tuesday next week a dispute between Vice President Constantino Chiwenga and his estranged wife Marry.

The dispute centres around Marry’s quests to have access to their Borrowdale matrimonial home and custody of their children, which Chiwenga is vehemently opposed to.

The postponement was done do allow the two parties to negotiate a settlement.

Marry is seeking an order compelling Chiwenga to allow her access to their three children and matrimonial home in Harare’s Borrowdale suburb.

Taona Nyamakura representing Marry and Advocate Lewis Uriri acting for Chiwenga both agreed to the postponement of the matter.
