Kuwait Human Human Trafficker Fugitive Nabbed

ZRP yesterday arrested a man who was part of a human trafficking syndicate that was recruiting women who went to Kuwait, The Herald reports. The man, James Maodza had absconded court 6 months ago and he was arrested in Harare CBD.

According to the publication:

Marodza told the court that he was ‘violently ill’ and was admitted in hospital for three days which resulted in him failing to attend court on his judgement day.

He was remanded in custody till 23 January for his judgement.
