De Jongh Responds To Being Linked With Warriors Job
Former Highlanders coach Hendrikus Pieter de Jongh has responded to reports linking him to the vacant Warriors job.
Speaking to Sunday Mail Sport on Saturday from his home country, the Netherlands, where he is on holiday, de Jongh could neither confirm nor deny that he is interested in the job. He said:
I am on holiday now and when I am done I will be focusing on new challenges. I will have news about my new challenges in a very short period of time.
FeedbackThere was a suggestion, though, that it would be possible for me to do both Highlanders and national team but as you know I did not extend my contract with Highlanders.
The nomadic Dutchman has coached in the Netherlands, Moldova, Hungary, Kenya and South Africa amongst other nations.
