Kawondera Joins FC Platinum
Triangle attacking midfielder, Ralph Kawondera has joined FC Platinum. His arrival at the Zvishavane-based Castle Lager PSL Champions preceded the release of six players from FC Platinum.
The Triangle skipper had a great season which saw him shortlisted for the Soccer Star of the Year award.
Kawondera was crowned first runner-up behind former Caps United striker, Joel “Josta” Ngodzo.
He joins Platinum as a free agent on a two-year deal and is likely to be unveiled on January 12, a day after their return match against Al Ahly of Egypt.
Kawondera is not eligible to play in the Caf Champions League since he played CAF Confederation Cup for Triangle but will only participate when the Platinum miners progress to the quarter-finals.
