POLAD To Set Up An Information Desk, And Engage SADC, UN, AU To Explain Its Mandate

POLAD will hit the ground running this coming new year as it is planning to explain its mandate to SADC, UN  and the African Union as well as set an information desk in Zimbabwe, the Herald reports.

Obert Gutu speaking to The Herald said:

We are going to engage all SADC countries in order to explain to them the key objectives and major focus of POLAD. We will also engage the AU, the EU and the United Nations, our plate is already full even before the New Year starts.

We are setting up a cutting-edge information sub-committee that is going to disseminate information relating to POLAD activities to all corners of Zimbabwe

POLAD is yet to show the nation tangible results despite its convenors calling it a success.
