Thieves Keep Stealing Bishop Gaul And Samora Machel Traffic Lights Solar Batteries

Notorious thieves keep stealing Samora Machel and Bishop Gaul Traffic lights solar batteries which in turn is causing accidents at the busy intersection the Herald Reports.

This was revealed by Ward 5 councillor Midia Mudariki who said:

We have also secured fittings and repaired traffic lights at the intersection of Bishop Gaul and Highway Road. This project was done by council, with residents donating some fittings.

We have repaired the Bishop Gaul and Samora Machel (Avenue) traffic lights, but I am very much worried with the theft of fittings and solar batteries on this robot, which poses as a serious threat to life.

Traffic lights are not working properly in some parts of the town due to load-shedding.
