“If Most Of Our Farmers Could Emulate ED,” – Temba Mliswa

Norton legislator (independent) Hon Temba Mliswa has said that Zimbabwean farmers must take a leaf from President Emmerson Mnangagwa who is “professionally” running his farm.

Posting on Twitter on Thursday following a tour of Mnangagwa’s farm in Kwekwe by a Chinese Tesso Group and Political Actors Dialogue (POLAD) forum members recently, Mliswa said:

One thing you can never take away from @edmnangagwa is how he is a real farmer, passionate and effective. He runs a very productive farm run professionally and he isn’t a multiple farm owner. If most of our farmers could emulate that we won’t have food shortages.

These remarks are made when most of the Zimbabwean farmers are failing to produce enough to feed themselves let alone sustain the local industry and export.

Most of the farmers bemoan lack of government support and lack of adequate resources, among them, machinery and other inputs.

  1. He is not the one running it. Fortunately he has all needed imputs manpower and agricultural experts on the ground and mostly state and chinees funded unlike us tinomirira ma handouts nemvura yemudenga full stop

  2. OK, lets get a few things in perspective here: Mliswa (the useless one) is just arse- creeping Mnangagwa because he wants some favours. The picture shows quite a few chinks and hardly any black people. So, why doesn’t ED, instead of asking the crooks of the yellow race (the fucking resource-gobbling Chinese) to have a look at this supposedly well-run and well-organized farm, why didn’t you ask some up-and-coming black farmers from ZIMBABWE who maybe are very keen to learn about farming but are under-resourced? What a waste of a good opportunity, ED, to show that you perhaps are interested in the welfare of the citizens of this bankrupt and fucked up country. How strange that you are more keen on showing your farm to the fucking chinks than to aspiring black farmers. But then we are quickly finding out that ZANUPF is all bullshit talk, lots of lies, seriously corrupt and full of thieves.

  3. Lets get a few things right here: Mliswa is no farmer, he is just a Mnangagwa arse-creeper, and is desperately trying to get into the foreign exchange dealership. But then, ED, why on earth would you take the fucking non-citizen chinks to your farm instead of perhaps showing it off to some aspiring black ZIMBABWEAN farmers who are probably desperate to start their own farms but are hampered by the grossly thieving antics of ZANUPF. ZanuPF who don’t give a damn about any citizens, don’t give a damn about teaching would-be farmers to become top commercial farmers, don’t give a damn whether you can get ZW$300 per week from the banks/ATM inspite of Mthuli/Mangudya “drip-feeding” MILLIONS of Bond notes into the banks. You are all just bloody liars.
