South African Premier League side, Amazulu FC has parted company with Zimbabwean international midfielder Ovidy Karuru.
Karuru and Usuthu reached a mutual agreement for the termination of the former’s contract ahead of the opening of the mid-season transfer window. In a statement posted on its official Twitter handle, Usuthu said:
AmaZulu FC and Zimbabwean international attacking midfielder, Ovidy Karuru (30) have reached a mutual agreement for the termination of his contract with immediate effect.
We wish him well for his future ventures.
Karuru joined AmaZulu on a Bosman transfer in 2017 after leaving Kaizer Chiefs. He went on to make a total of 56 appearances, scoring six goals and assisting a further six.
