"Let’s Come Together And Create A Healthier Zimbabwe," Higherlife Foundation Launch Crowdfunding Initiative
Higherlife Foundation has launched a crowdfunding initiative to mobilise resources to support public health institutions.
In a statement, the foundation founded by Econet Wireless chairman and founder Strive Masiyiwa and his wife Tsitsi said:
We are one nation, let’s stand together to save lives. What is a nation without a good healthcare system? Let’s come together and makes it possible for lives to be saved. Let’s come together and create a healthier Zimbabwe.
FeedbackThe Foundation recently announced that it will be supporting caregivers with a number of services including transportation and salaries with Econet subsidiaries having already pledged money and other resources needed.
The initiative is launched when the country’s public health sector is grounded due to lack of equipment, medicines and the situation was worsened by the industrial action which started on the 3rd of September over unsustainable salaries and poor working conditions.
