2020 first term school fees structures have left most parents and spectators shocked as they are charging exorbitantly in some people’s eyes, Sunday News reports.
According to the publication here is a list of some of the fees structures for some schools in Matabeleland as seen by the publication:
- Falcon College – ZWL $60000
- Cristian brothers College – ZWL $17 300
- Dominican Convent – ZWL $ 13000
- Petra (Primary & Secondary) – ZWL $ 12 600 & $ 8 260
- St Thomas – ZWL $ 8300
- Cyrene Mission – ZWL $ 4000 including grocery
While government school are said to be charging between $400 and $600.

When figures are in Zim dollars they look exorbitant yet they are not for the elites in our society. If you find the fees shockingly high it simply means you are in the wrong league. Go back to where you belong. When the ZW$400 being charged by government schools is too steep for you tjhen ypu have readon to grt stocked. If you can’t swim don’t go to the deep end play in the shallows where your feet can touch the floor without you drowning. If the shallows are still too taxing for you then man oh man you are in deep trouble….welcome to Zimbabwe.
