NOTICE TO ASPINDALE PARK RESIDENTS

RE: DRILLING OF BOREHOLES IN ASPINDALE PARK

We are writing in response to the increase of individuals who are drilling boreholes in The Aspindale Park Development.

As it is, Aspindale Park stands do not qualify for the drilling of a borehole on individual stands as the stand sizes in Aspindale Park are 200m2, however, the minimum stand requirement for boreholes to be drilled is 500m2.

Furthermore, with regards to health, it is advised that the borehole be a minimum of 16meters away from the sewer line.

All boreholes that are dug need to be registered and approved by the local council. There have also been reports that one drilling rig damaged a road while they were drilling for water.

The cost of damage of this kind cannot be borne by the developer.

This circular will also be given to our security who from now on, will not allow drilling rigs into the development to drill on any stands going forward.
