Police Okays Doctors' Demo

The striking physicians have been given the go-ahead to march against their grievances as per their request, Daily News reports.

According to the Daily News, Harare central’s Oscar Mugomeri said:

As discussed in a consultation meeting on November 28, 2019 in my office, the march shall take the following route: From Parirenyatwa Hospital main gate, turn right into Mazowe Street, left into Herbert Chitepo, right into Simon Muzenda, right into Nelson Mandela and enter Africa Unity Square where you shall send representatives to hand over your petition to members of the Parliament of Zimbabwe.

The police will provide escort. Your co-operation with the police and other government agents would be greatly appreciated,

The police have been issuing the MDC with prohibition notices whenever they plan a gathering. However, begging last week they have started OKaying demos with the lawyers march the first demo okayed since early this year.
