Chinese Embassy Statement On ED's Visit To New Parliament {Full Thread}

Today [27/11/2019] President E.D Mnangagwa made his 3rd visit to the construction site of the New Parliament in Mt Hampden. In attendance were V.P Chiwenga, V.P Mohadi, Advocate Mudenda, Madam Geza, Minister Kazembe Kazembe, Minister July Moyo, Minister Cain Mathema, Service Chiefs and MPs.

Representing the Chinese side was Acting Ambassador Mr Zhao Baogang aka Hungwe. He appreciated President @edmnangagwa for giving high attention to the project as it was his 3rd visit. He also mentioned that the construction of the building would be completed by March 2021.

V.P Mohadi took the podium second as he introduced President Mnangagwa and the vision for the country. He also mentioned @edmnangagwa experience as Speaker of Parliament hence he attaches great importance to the construction of the New Parliament.

President Mnangagwa expressed appreciation to China for the donation of the building and encouraged local staff to seize the opportunity and learn as much as they can. He also revealed that Mt Hampden will house the 3 pillars of the State (Executive, Legislative and Judiciary).

Last to speak was Vice President Constantino Guveya Dominic Nyikadzino Chiwenga with a vote of thanks.
