Vice President Constantino Chiwenga has returned to Zimbabwe.
The VP, was was ill and hospitalised in China was welcomed at Robert Mugabe International Airport by Chinese Deputy Ambassador, Zhao Baogang and his relatives.
Pictures showing him disembarking a plane whose label is in Chinese, Chiwenga looks healthy.

It is not clear why the VP was not received by prominent government officials as per tradition. Asked about this on Twitter, government spokesperson, Nick Mangwana responded:
“Airport welcoming parties are reserved for the Head of State.”
Mangwana was however told that VP Kembo Mohadi has received welcoming parties on the occasions he has returned to Zimbabwe.
