MDC-T VP Claims To Have Received Death Threats

MDC-T deputy president Obert Gutu claims that he has been receiving death threats via WhatsApp from people using South Africa-registered mobile phone numbers.

Gutu has, however, dared those issuing the death threats to come near him. Writing on Twitter, he said:

Some hoodlums are sending me death threats via WhatsApp. I’m not scared about these threats from cowards who are using South African registered mobile numbers.

Gutu is not new to controversy as his stream of tweets almost always generates either mockery or anger among his followers.

On Tuesday, Gutu defended police brutality against MDC supporters, going as far as labelling his erstwhile colleagues “terrorists”.
