Ecocash has notified its “valued customers” that the Ecocash Platform Performance has improved from the system upgrade.
The largest mobile phone-based money transfer, financing and microfinancing service in Zimbabwe had earlier asked for customers’ patience as they were fixing glitches which resulted from the Weekend planned system upgrade.
Some services were no longer appearing on the Ecocash platform bringing the nation to a “standstill” since the Ecocash is almost everywhere in the Zimbabwean economy.
Posting on social media pages, Ecocash said:

Dear Valued Customers,
We would like to advise you that the Ecocash Platform performance has improved. However, some customers may still experience service issues.
Kindly bear with us as we work to resolve all outstanding issues.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
